Hello Clayton Families,
  Today (Wednesday, Aug 14th) is an exciting day as your child(ren) find out who their teacher will be for the upcoming school year! Teachers will email caregivers at around 3 pm.

Please keep in mind that creating class lists is a comprehensive process that began in May, using feedback from caregivers and educators. Many professionals in the school worked on these lists to ensure the classes are as balanced as possible, taking into account all necessary factors to meet each student's needs. We also carefully considered the information parents provided in April using our input form. 

  As a friendly reminder, our process does not include requesting a specific teacher. Our leadership team cannot honor these requests equitably, so we do not take requests for a particular teacher. Also, we are unable to honor requests for class changes. As you can imagine, even one change can cause a significant ripple effect. If school personnel identify a class placement conflict, we will work as a team and communicate with parents about any necessary changes.
